At the age of eight, Linda was sewing hats for her
dolls out of dynamite wire and scraps of left over
material. By the age of fourteen, she had sewn
herself an Easter outfit, complete with a wool
dress and fully lined coat. As a young adult, she
had the opportunity to live in Norway and couldn’t
pass up learning how to knit from some of the
natives. She mastered the skill, adapted what she
had learned to her own style and then started
teaching others. To this day she continues to teach
her style of knitting Scandinavian sweaters to
anyone who wants to learn.
As you can see,
she is inspired by beauty and it shows in the
quality of her creations. She continues reinventing
herself each day by continued education and
experimentation not to mention her desire to teach
others. There just doesn’t seem to be any end to her
creative desires.
If you ask her
when she expects to retire she will tell you
herself:
"I'll never retire, I'm having to much fun!" |
